I've read Fires and enjoyed it. I will probably read it again soon but a lot of stuff is going on right now.

What do you think about Fires being optioned? With a degree in film, you can surely adapt it. Which leads me to wonder: I know you've written something like 4 novels. Have you ever written a script? (Some programs mandate 1 to 2 scripts before graduation, but I'm not sure about Yale.)

yes, i have written many scripts, mostly a long time ago--they all suck. i would write a new script if i had a good idea and wanted to spend the time on it. and if i thought it had a real chance of getting optioned. i would like to adapt one of my books or stories into a screenplay if it were optioned. what do i think about fires being optioned? i hope someone options it.
